Day 8: From the Freezer
On Tuesday morning I drove to Philadelphia (MS!) to work with my project manager, Melissa. She invited me to stay with her family overnight so we could work again today, rather than driving back and forth. Her husband Scott is an AWESOME cook. He made chicken on the grill, asparagus, baked beans, and homemade onion rings and french fries that were amazing.
So, before I left the house, I packed a cooler with some treats for our freezer for their future enjoyment: deer sausage (links, for the grill), wild hog & deer sausage (ground, goes great with eggs and biscuits), pork loin (from aforementioned wild hog), and deer burger. Oh, and strawberry freezer jam.

Keri,
You are really getting into those Mississippian flavors. I've taken down some of your recipes, and I can't believe that with all of the fattening ingredients, that you look so good and even Mark looks slimmer. I enjoy hearing how in love you are. I'm so glad that it's all worked out for you.
