Day 18: My friend Lucy works hard at being happy, and making others happy.  She's one of those people who is always "up" so everyone thinks it's natural.  But when you get to know her more deeply, you realize how she chooses to put a smile on her face, which takes more effort some days.  Everybody loves Lucy!

So on Friday, I called her as I drove to work and sang a silly song on her voice mail, just because that's the kind of thing she loves.  Fun for both of us! 

Day 19: Today, June 19th, I worked a booth at the Infant and Maternity Fair at the local hospital.  People were giving out bags full of stuff to everyone who came.  The door prizes included a crib (!), diaper bags, swim lessons, and more.  I was giving away information: Extension publications on pregnancy and child development from birth through the first six months  of life.  I saw so many adorable babies and women in various stages of pregnancy!  If I have to work on a Saturday, this is definitely the kind of activity I prefer.  Plus, I finally got to meet the adorable J.D., and his mom let me hold him.  I'm in love!  6 months old and *redheaded*!!!  Swoon.
