Day 29: Ice Cream!
I like new traditions. I especially like new traditions involving food. (Big surprise!)
It appears that whenever I am on a trip with my friend and project manager Tonya, we will find ice cream. Hurray! I decided to treat her to her scoop, as she'd gotten fried dill pickles at lunch and shared them with me. We ate at Nola, which I highly recommend if you're ever in Indianola, MS, perhaps visiting the B.B. King Museum.
Our ice cream stop today was Baskin Robbins in Winona, MS. Tonya said it was one of the few that carried her favorite flavor, World Class Chocolate. I was excited, because it's been ages since I had my favorite, Mint Chocolate Chip.
Alas, they were OUT. Ran out last night, and the truck, though scheduled to arrive today, had not yet remedied the dire situation. I'm came very close to suggesting the employee break open one of the gallons for sale. That's how badly I wanted some Mint Chocolate Chip. Instead, I settled for Pralines 'N' Cream. It was tasty, but just not the same.
Here is a photo of what I wanted to eat, from a blog called Bargain Hunter, with a URL that's very So Cal.

To my surprise, today is June 29th. The 29th day of the 29-Day Giving Challenge. I'd thought to finish with a bang, some sort of major give-away. But I lost track of time and even have something prepared to give tomorrow, so the Big Finale will have to wait, I suppose. Thanks for following me on this Challenge. . . we will now resume regular programming.
