Creative Parenting

This dad takes the cake in the creative parenting category.  He dressed in a different costume every single school day to wave at his son -- a sophomore in high school -- as the bus passed by their house.

Their blog showing each costume is here.

An article about them is here.

My favorite parts: they spent less than $50 because friends shared costumes, their second grader got involved, and by the end of the year, all of the high school students were waiting to see the costume of the day and waved back.  The sheer fun and variety -- plus all of the props! -- have me in awe.

Well that, and the fact that they named their kids Rikki, Rain, and Riot.
