My Life: Possum Town Quilters — August Show & Tell

quilt picture

I finally had something to share at Show & Tell! I finished piecing this throw quilt for my sister. Watana is going to quilt it for me, then I’ll add the binding to finish it. I’ll share the finished product when it’s done. I’m going to share just a fraction of the show & tell quilts. These ladies really do a great job of getting projects done! Best of all, they’re very nice and encouraging.

The guild worked on this quilt to give to charity. It’s hand-quilted.

This is Judy’s Celtic Solstice quilt — it’s a mystery quilt by Bonnie Hunter.

Lawana is making progress on her medallion quilt. Every couple months, Judy shares a new border/addition.

Naomi is new to the area and this is her first quilt guild to join, though she’s been quilting for years. She quilts everything by hand, and learned in Germany. She said her teacher insisted on 8 stitches per inch. She’s very talented!

Annette is one of the most prolific quilters in our group, and that’s saying something! This is also a Bonnie Hunter pattern, called Wonky Wishes.
