Poetry Friday and a wintery haiku

It’s Poetry Friday! Buffy Silverman and her driftwood “Menorah Man” welcome us at her blog.

Today I’m rushing to share a poem I wrote this summer during my haiku study.  It feels like August was so long ago!

Happy Poetry Friday! Happy coffee drinking!

  1. It does feel as though August was ages ago, doesn’t it? Your haiku sounds like the beginning of a haiku story… Why is she up so early on this bitter morning?

    1. I’m glad you think so! (This poet is usually up early, even on weekends, because she can’t sleep late. ACK!)

  2. August? What’s that? Your haiku study served you well! As Tabatha says, the haiku leads the reader to imagine more. Happy holidays to you and yours!
