  1. Nice! I *might* have napped in a library before… though usually I am the get-it-and-go kind of patron, so I can curl up in my favorite spot at home. 🙂 Thank you for sharing! xo

  2. Hidden corners can be just right for reading, writing, or napping. I think college students often have their favorite library study/nap spots!

  3. I used to wish I could get overlooked in the library and stay there all night reading. Maybe I’d take a nap, but mostly I just thought of all the amazing books I’d get to read undisturbed! Your haiku brings me back…

  4. I don’t think I’d risk a nap in such a public place, but I do love being able to just put the book down and fall into a dream when I feel my eyes begin to droop as I read!

  5. LOL. The books that lulled me into the deepest sleep were those of my college major. And then I became a librarian. I love that I can close my eyes in a library and let my mind relax. It is home. Thanks for the short, sweet bit of light in my morning.

  6. It’s been a long time since I even thought about a hidden corner in a library. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories of college days. Thanks for sharing.

  7. Where I went to college, there was an stone castle building that housed the library. If I remember correctly, a large new library opened in my sophomore year, but it couldn’t hold a candle to the small old library with its arm chair next to a radiator. Doubtless many a freshman, besides myself, was put to sleep.
