Day 18: My friend Lucy works hard at being happy, and making others happy. She’s one of those people who is always “up” so everyone thinks it’s natural. But when you get to know her more deeply, you realize how she chooses to put a smile on her face, which takes more effort some days. Everybody loves Lucy! So on Friday, I called her as I drove to work and sang a silly song on her voice mail, just because that’s the kind of thing she loves. Fun for both of us! …
