At the Old Cemeteryby Keri Collins LewisCrumbling headstonesspongy earth beneath my feetsilent stones still speakOne of the technology instructors at work taught an iPad class at the Itawamba County Extension office Thursday morning and used the app “A Billion Graves” to introduce students to mapping local cemeteries. They applied their new skills at a cemetery where some graves are so old only lumps of rock or rusted metal rods remain to mark the burial locations.
