“Self-pity is never useful. It tends to distort like a fun-house mirror.” ~ Anne Roiphe
When my schedule becomes crowded to the point of no margin, the first tasks I abandon are the very ones that keep me grounded: scripture reading, prayer, back stretches. Pretty stupid. Next come the things I enjoy: reading, blogging, quilting.
So, this week, my goal is to get the train back on the tracks without self-pity or guilt. I am human. I will celebrate the successes and learn from the mistakes.
I hope your week is full of celebrations!
I hope you can feed your spirit this week, Keri! Bite-sized morsels if you can’t fit in a whole meal 🙂
