On Friday I had the pleasure of participating in a picture book intensive workshop with author Lola Schaefer. In addition to being a smart and lovely lady, she’s a dynamic instructor with 18 years of elementary classroom experience! She now serves as a writing consultant.I purchased her book, Just One Bite, because of its innovative approach to science and awesome fold-out pages that accommodate life-size illustrations.
