Where Have All the Parents Gone? Bad, apparently.

My friend and fellow bibliophile Mari sent me this essay on parents in children’s books, particularly in the YA genre. (Thanks Mari!) It’s written by the children’s books editor of the NYT — talk about a sweet gig and a rarity in this age of disappearing newspaper reviews.
