It’s Poetry Friday!The much-loved Linda is hosting today at TeacherDance.Today I want to solicit your input on line breaks. Advice? Examples of poems that use it well? Poets who seem to break lines perfectly, every time? One of the first questions brought up by fellow students in my online class, the Pleasures of Poetry, was “how do you know when to break the line?” I found this video, and LOVE Sharon Old’s very physical explanation of how she determines where to break the lines of her poems.
